Events at CMC

CMC adds to the rich variety of live performances in Portland with over 150 music events every year in the David Beasley Campbell Recital Hall. Some of these are by CMC faculty or visiting artists, many are by students, and most are free or low-cost and open to the public. Look for listings in the CMC Newsletter or call CMC for more information. All events free-will donation unless specified.

CMC students Natalie Yu and Maya Dair (pictured here moments after their Young Artist Debut appearance at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall last month) will perform on the CMC Chamber Music Program Sunday, June 7. Maya is CMCs Kaufman Award winner this year, and so will also be featured on the Honors and Awards Concert June 5. Other awardees performing are: Inga Van Buren (violin), Louie Leager (bass), Samuel Zacharia (viola), and Brandon Garbot (violin).
