School Year
Three ten-week terms divide up the classes. Students generally start in the fall and continue through winter and spring. Some classes allow students to join in winter or spring. Fall 09 registration begins in mid August.
Summer Term
June, July-August, and September sessions allow students to continue their studies through the summer or enter as a new student (we recommend starting beginning violin, viola or cello lessons in the school-year term, however).
Faculty
Over 55 performing artist-instructors serve about 1,000 participants per week at CMC. View their biographies.
Instrument Rentals
Thanks to generous donations, low-cost string instrument rentals are available to Parks & Recreation music participants, with priority given first to scholarship students, then youth, then adults. Contact CMC for more details.
