If you have done your practicing to learn a concerto, this is the place to be! Join this chamber orchestra that gives students who have learned solo pieces a chance to play with a real orchestra, not just piano accompaniment. Soloists then become a part of the orchestra playing for their fellow students. Participants are chosen by audition (see below). Students may choose to play in the orchestra without playing a solo.
These two programs together make a great day-camp experience!
Important Program Information
• This program is designed for intermediate to advanced players.
• Payment is required to schedule an audition time
• There will be no refund of fees except for students not placed in a group.
Chamber Music Northwest
Through a partnership with Chamber Music Northwest, international guest artists give master classes to participants as available.
Audition Dates
Saturday, May 18: 1pm - 5pm
Friday, May 31: 4pm - 7pm
Saturday, June 1: 9am - 12pm
Thursday, June 6: 3pm - 6pm
Registration deadline is last audition date
Fees
Violists and Cellists receive a 20% discount.
Concertante Orchestra: $85/$175
20% off for all chamber music participants
Need-based scholarships are available for both.
