Workshop: Success in Lessons and Home Practice

Setting Up Students for Success in Music Lessons and Home Practice

Have you ever struggled to get your kid into a regular instrument practice routine? Are there moments you lack ideas to motivate your young students to practice? Do you struggle to keep your student focused during at-home practice sessions? If you are like many of us who have experienced some of these challenges, don’t miss this great opportunity to get support and help from the experts.

At CMC we understand that for young students to thrive and make progress with their musical instrument learning, practice at home under the guidance of parents and guardians is essential. Aiming to provide the caregiver with important tools to succeed in this fundamental endeavor, we are thrilled to offer you a workshop tailored to parents/guardians of music students brought to you by the CMC Board: “Setting Up Students for Success in Music Lessons & Home Practice” by violin teacher, author, podcaster and parent who practiced music with her own children, Christine Goodner.

The workshop will take place at CMC on April 18th, from 4-5:30 pm. This event is free to attend, but RSVP is required. Please click here to confirm your attendance. If you are unable to attend in person you can attend virtually via Zoom (Zoom link  will be sent a few days before the event, to those who RSVP  here ).
